Ryan’s practice spans mergers and acquisitions, private equity/venture capital investments, capital markets and cross border reorganisations. He has advised clients ranging from start-ups to MNCs on a variety of corporate actions.
Career
Prior to his legal career, Ryan worked in business development for listed companies in Singapore and Australia, playing a critical role in their investment and business expansion plans. He has also worked at another leading local firm as well as an international firm here in Singapore.

Acted as issuer counsel for the SGX Catalist IPO of The Assembly Place Holdings Ltd
Acted for YTL Cement Berhad on its S$228m acquisition of a majority stake in SGX Mainboard listed NSL Ltd, as well as the ensuing mandatory general offer as offeror counsel
Acted as Singapore counsel for HSBC Asset Management in its acquisition of a stake in SP Mobility, an electric vehicle charging point operator.
Acted as Singapore counsel for General Atlantic on its US$500m Series E investment as lead investor into Insider, a leading AI-narrative omnichannel experience and customer engagement platform
Acted as Singapore counsel for British Columbia Investment in its acquisition of a minority stake in Pinnacle Towers, the largest independent telecommunications tower company in the Philippines.
Acted for No Signboard Holdings Ltd (now known as Bromat Holdings Ltd) as offeree counsel in connection with a mandatory general offer for all of its shares.
