Experience

Elaine Beh is a Senior Consultant of Icon Law.​ Elaine has substantial experience advising small and medium enterprises in their corporate and fundraising transactions. Her principal areas of practice are in capital markets and mergers and acquisitions. She has substantial experience advising on listings on the Singapore Exchange having advised both issuers as well as underwriters. She has also been involved in numerous M&A transactions, corporate restructurings,and cross-border joint ventures. She regularly advises on Singapore Exchange compliance and corporate governance issues.​

Elaine’s clients include listed and private companies from a diverse range of industries such as manufacturing, logistics, food, services and technology.​

Elaineis recognised as a Recommended Lawyer for Capital Markets and Corporate M&A by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2022, and as a Leading Individual for Capital Markets by Chambers Asia Pacific’s 2022 and 2023 Guide. Elaine also sits on the boards of, and serves as a committee member for, various Singapore-listed companies, and non-profit and charitable organisations.

Career

Duringher 30 years of legal practice, Elaine has advised on a diverse range of matters, including corporate, banking and finance, and real estate transactions.  While as a partner in the corporate practice at Colin Ng & Partners, she led the continuing sponsorship team as a separate business unit. The continuing sponsorship team (authorized and regulated by the SGX) advised and guided Catalis tlisted companies on governance and regulatory compliance.   In 2013, Elaine joined Virtus Law LLP (Stephenson Harwood (Singapore) Alliance) where she served as Partner and Head of the Corporate and Commercial Practice until 2022. During this time, she collaborated closely with the Stephenson Harwood Hong Kong corporate and private wealth teams. Prior to joining Icon Law in 2025, Elaine was a consultant in the Corporate & Capital Markets practice at RHTLawAsia LLP.

Elaine currently sits on the boards of the following Singapore-listed companies: (i) Audience Analytics Limited; (ii) Chasen Holdings Limited;  (iii) Mun Siong Engineering Limited.  She also offers her time to various different causes as a board or committee member to the following non-profit/charitable organisations: (i) Abilities Beyond Limitations and Expectations Limited; (ii) Marymount Centre :(iii) Council for Estate Agencies (CEA) Appeals Board; and (iv) Yellow Ribbon Fund.

Notable Experience

•Acted for the Aztech Chairman and founder in his privatisation offer for Aztech Group Ltd. The offer valued the group at approximately S$20.4 million.

•Advised on the restructuring and re-listing of the Aztech Group on the Mainboard of the SGX-ST as Aztech Global Ltd in March 2021, raising gross proceeds of approximately S$297 million and an estimated market capitalization of approximately S$990 million.​

•Acted as counsel to the offeree, Cheung Woh Technologies Ltd, in a voluntary conditional offer. The offer values the offeree at approximately S$80 million.

•Acted as counsel to the offeree, Top Global Limited, in a voluntary conditional cash offer by the offeror. The offer values the offeree at approximately S$125million.

•Advised the founder and shareholders of Synergix Technologies Pte. Ltd. on the restructuring and sale of a majority shareholding in Synergix to Miroku Jyoho Service Co., Ltd. (MJS), a Japanese company listed on the Prime Market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
